What is Cystic Fibrosis & How You Can Help
Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-threatening genetic disease that primarily affects the lungs and digestive system. An estimated 30,000 children and adults in the United States (70,000 worldwide) have CF. There are roughly 1,000 new cases diagnosed each year.
People living with CF undergo a daily treatment and medication regimen in order to clear their lungs and maintain health. As research continues, the treatments have improved the life span and quality of life for CF patients. However, treatments are time consuming and financially burdensome. It's our goal at the Legacy Foundation to help minimize the challenges that come with accessing the optimal treatment options to support an active life.
Your financial support helps us support further research, provide next generation equipment and treatment to clinics and patients and support the dreams of those living with CF. Leave your legacy today and follow the link below to share your resources.
